Hello,
My name is Cassandra Goldman and I'm a geometry teacher in an alternative school. I am looking to add global elements to my lessons and I would love to hear about your travels. I'm new to Geometry seeing that I'm certified special ed and not math, so I'm still developing my plan for next year. So, if you know of any gripping geometry ideas that I can bring some 21st century skills in to, I'd greatly appreicate it!
Thank you!

For those willing to volunteer: What expertise do you have to offer?
I have some experiences using videoconferencing technologies, including remote field webcasting over a cell phone network. (See "Lessons Learned from two more Ustream.tv remote webcasts."
What credentials or past experiences would you like to share?
I've been a teacher in education for 13 years. I've worked a fair bit with videoconferencing, desktop conferencing, and other VOIP applications. I think the best distributed learning experiences involve a blend of both asynchronous and synchronous learning tools.
What technology to you have access to? ie. Webcams, Skype, Video conferencing, e-mail, MSN etc.
H.323 videoconferencing codecs, webcams, external DV camera, Skype, iChat, as well as other IMs.
What else should we know about you?
I am willing to connect to students and teachers in schools when I am traveling and visiting interesting places. I think we need to bring connections from the real world outside of schools into our schools every day.
